Book Two Excerpt:
As I put this book together now on February 20, 2009, it’s clear to me once again that I’m being guided by an unseen force. There are no coincidences for everything happens as the result of our soul’s plan.
It’s how we react to these things that make the difference in our lives. This morning before I got out of bed I got another ‘God message’ and spent some time considering whether to put it into this book or save it for the next. I sense it is to go in this book or I would not have ‘heard’ it now so here it is as I received it. I’m reading The Divine Matrix by Gregg Braden but did not read it the day before this message.
“We are brothers and sisters of soul in the Light ever strengthening the Matrix in which we live. And that Matrix grows as we grow. And that Matrix strengthens as we strengthen. And that Matrix is never-ending. We are part of that fine Matrix, that substance of life that sustains us, and we feed that Matrix with our thoughts. Just as in the book you read, thoughts, beliefs, make the physical manifestations in your life.
“Carefully chosen thoughts, those are the thoughts to be nurtured. Those are the thoughts that will make the best life. You must tell your brothers and sisters this. You must let them know that these thoughts go into that ever-flowing Matrix and become their life, eventually, whether in this so-called life or the next. There is only one Matrix and the beings that form it and the beings that hold it together are one. Go forth and spread the word of the Matrix. You have been heard. What you seek is already found.”
I would love to just write this book with the messages I’ve gotten and continue to get, yet I realize there is a reason to write as I do. Some people may not be ready to receive the messages I hear but it’s important to know that anyone can get the same messages. Understand I’m not ‘special’ because of these ‘messages’. I’m not special at all for all humans get ‘messages’ from God. It’s just a matter of being ready and open to receive them.
Since Daniel’s transition I’ve actively sought to purify and cleanse the body and mind in which my soul lives. I’ve removed chaos from my life and learned to be open and receptive to the voice of God, Spirit, All That Is, whatever term you wish to use for the Vital Life Force within us. We are all the same having come from the same Source and we will all return to that Source. My task, as other Lightworkers and way-showers, is to make that return happen as soon as possible. So, bear with me as I relate how the process unfolds within me.

Most people thought I went crazy when my son died. Some of them still believe I’m living in the twilight zone. I’ve had what many people would consider a full and colorful life. I’ve kept track of almost everything that’s happened to me. My journals, poems, family pictures, videos, and recorded voices of family members were used to write this book.
At 40-years-old, I started thinking about writing my life story. Things are finally becoming more in focus now that I’m 57-years-old. There is an urgent need to share my struggles, joys and resulting growth in book form. I know this will help others and help myself by sharing the odd things that have happened to me.
I’ve been trying to decide what kind of book to write for years. The book I started to write a long time ago would take me back. It would cause me to relive many of the worst years of this life. Now I know better. This book is about what Samantha experienced. I thought I was she but since my way of thinking has changed, I realize I’m not the same person I used to be. Since I am not Samantha anymore this book is written in the third person.
Samantha never paid much attention to what other people thought or how she conducted her life. So how did a Detroit-born girl from the projects get to Florida? The answer is both simple and complicated. Samantha grew by following her intuition and going through a lot of struggle, a lot of pain, and a lot of joy.
She never stopped to consider how she would fill her day. Samantha always read plenty of books, mainly romance novels to stop her from thinking about her own life. She never considered what she was doing or why she did it. The idea of cause and effect never entered her mind. She never thought about the consequences of her actions. “Work hard, party hard,” was her motto.
Samantha very rarely second guessed her own judgment. She mostly believed in her own ability to do anything to which she set her mind to do. She learned at an early age that all things are just a matter of time and effort. Samantha learned quickly to work for what she wanted when she stole a red mohair sweater at 10-years-old and was caught. Other lessons took her much longer to learn.
Samantha met every major goal she made for herself. She rose above many years of having little food to eat to being middle class and eating whatever she wanted. She grew from being what appeared to be the abused victim to showing forgiveness and love to all people. Samantha accomplished a whole lot more than she ever dared to dream.
She learned that lust and passion can often lead people astray because sometimes what we think of as love betrays our inner core. Now she knows that during those times we have chances to learn valuable lessons. We also have chances to bring children into this world. Newborns are pure, God-conscious points of white light sent to lead us.
A lot of unusual things happened to Samantha. She never regretted any of the relationships she had even when they were abusive. She learned that humans are not meant to live in limitation. This lesson was a hard one to learn as she married and divorced three times. She nearly died several times through attempted suicide and major illnesses. Now she realizes that in essence she is perfect, whole and complete.
Giving birth to a son at sixteen and a daughter seven years later were godsends to Samantha’s growth. The perception of losing her son thirty-seven years after he was born was the greatest thing that ever happened to her. His spirit helped her to turn so-called tragedy and loss into the best years of her life. The death of his physical body woke her up.
Samantha learned to always follow her intuition and gut feelings. She listens now to the voices inside her head that she believes are members of her spirit group. The voices are directed by a Supreme Being, whatever you care to call It. It’s all God. Once we come to It, God guides our every thought and action towards the greater good of all. We are all living in a dream world and it is time to wake-up.
