The End of My Soap Opera Life :-)

Book One: Death of the Sun

Book Excerpt:

Samantha’s heart was pounding loudly as rage filled her body. Her chest heaved as she began to hyperventilate and gasp for air. The drama was on and it was increasing with each thought of the past. She hung up the telephone feeling overwhelmed with a complete and total sense of loss. Uncontrollable crying began as she fell to the floor.

The agony came from deep inside her gut. The sobs seemed to heave up and out making her stomach and throat tremble. James stood in the room with her. He seemed confused as he looked around trying to decide what to do. He sat down on the black futon as she cried uncontrollably hunched up on the floor two feet away from him.

They stayed there for at least 30 minutes until Samantha could cry no more. She couldn’t bear to tell her daughter Rebecca who was ill with a mysterious illness. Rebecca hadn’t slept well for a long time. This would be the last time she’d try to sleep in the innocence of not knowing her brother was dead. It was so unlike the joyous Sunday mornings when they both were born. Samantha wanted Rebecca to have a few more hours of precious sleep.

Samantha’s sister Ruth was usually up for work very early so she called her. Ruth answered the telephone within seconds. She listened in stunned silence as Samantha sobbed about Daniel’s untimely death. Ruth was the one that told Rebecca her beloved 37-year-old brother was dead.

Naomi, Ruth’s partner, stayed with Rebecca’s 12-year-old son Samuel. Ruth and Rebecca raced over in Ruth’s black Chevy van and got to James and Samantha’s house within the hour. Through her sobs, Samantha told them what she knew of Daniel’s accident. They all cried together on the screened-in back porch as the sun rose in the south Florida sky.

Samantha already missed Daniel’s infectious smile. She knew she’d miss looking into his sensitive hazel eyes that looked like hers. He’d been attentive to everyone but still traveled to the beat of his own drum. Truly a free spirit, he displayed the freedom she and others could not seem to grasp. Except for the last few years of his life, he always seemed to be the one having the most fun, enjoying each moment he lived to the fullest.

She thought about how thankful she was to have given birth to him, how thankful she was for his love. Samantha was especially thankful that he’d set up the situation of his death. Daniel made it so much easier for everyone that knew him by not making it necessary that his 5’ 6” body be identified. (2)

2. One of Daniel’s favorite rock groups, Limp Biscuit, sings, “Life’s a lesson, you learn it when you’re through”. She knew Daniel had learned his life’s lessons and was finally free. Emmanuel’s Book notes: “You will stay until your task is done, until your lessons are learned. And then we will all begin again in some other dimension to create in the name of God.” Fortunately, as noted by Renard, anything we learn stays in our mind forever.

Ernest Holmes tells us on page 87 of the original The Science of Mind text, man is free. Yet to become aware of his freedom “he must first go through experiences which will teach him how to use his freedom properly.”

Dr. Christine Page notes, we all promised to come to earth and learn believing the illusion of this world until we accomplish what we’ve contracted to do. We’ve agreed to abide by the ‘rules’ of this game on earth. All humans have the opportunity before birth to decide what to learn. We can make bargains “with others to turn up at specific times for particular events and develop a sacred contract.” When our spirit body reduces its vibration to match the energy of earth we are faced with “varying degrees of spiritual amnesia.”

We forget who we really are, parts of God in human form. Samantha knew years later how the minute details of Daniel’s passing made her experience of waking-up easier. She knew his death was planned to help her wake-up to her true reality. Based on information in Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield, there’s a Fifth Insight to life that helps us raise our vibration level (www.celestinevision.com). It was now time for Samantha to wake-up to her true being. For more information visit the book store link above.
